The Picnic Florals collection features a great assortment prints. From tiny polka dots, pin stripes, gingham, too delicate florals, and delectable strawberries. Making the Picnic Florals collection perfect for dining room decor. So, I thought why not place-mats?

I wanted the place-mats to have a classic feel. Reminiscent of going to a park for a picnic but from the comforts of your own home. I decided to create the base of the place-mat with 2 1/2″ squares. With an added little strawberry appliqué detail to one side. 

I really enjoyed making these Berry Sweet place-mats with the adorable Picnic Florals collection. I opted to make a set of 4 place-mats, but the pattern includes details for a single place-mat, set of 4, or set of 6. Plus, there are details for 3 different fabric requirements for the background. For this version, I used the 21 fabric option. With the 21 fabric option, I was able to include all the wonderful prints from the Picnic Florals collection. Whichever version and quantity you choose to make the Picnic Florals fabric will bring that cheerful feeling of a picnic at the park to your dining room.
