Introducing Sir Beary Harey... from the Beary Bunch Block Series
There’s a certain kind of joy that shows up when bunny ears land on the cutting table.
Sir Beary Harey hopped into the studio like he knew spring was circled on the calendar. Tall pink ears, bright carrot in hand, and that classic Beary expression... he’s cheerful, playful, and just proud enough of his seasonal style.
He features the Original Face and Original Feet from the original Beary Bunch Quilt Pattern, keeping that familiar personality we’ve come to love... simple, expressive, and full of charm.

From the Studio
When I started pulling fabric for him, I didn’t want whisper-soft spring. I wanted fresh… with a little backbone.
Spring can lean pastel quickly, but pairing softness with depth makes everything feel more intentional. I wanted contrast that would hold its own from across the room... something that feels happy, but grounded.
That’s where this palette came together.

Fabric Notes – Confetti Cottons
-
Bear: Seaglass
-
Bear Highlights: Hint of Mint
-
Background: Amethyst
-
Bunny Ears: Riley Hot Pink & Rose
- Carrot: Tangerine & Shamrock
Seaglass gives him that cool, minty freshness that feels just right for March. Hint of Mint adds dimension without pulling focus... subtle, but important.
And that Amethyst background? That’s the quiet anchor. It’s not the expected spring choice, which is exactly why it works. It gives the softer tones something to stand against and makes the whole block feel confident instead of delicate.
The Tangerine and Shamrock carrot might just steal the show. It’s stitched up in the happiest shades of orange and green... a bunny’s favorite treat, after all, and it practically pops against his minty body.

A Few Sewing Thoughts
Most of the block uses the familiar Beary Bunch construction and stitch-and-flip method, so if you’ve made a pal before, you’ll feel right at home.
The carrot introduces half rectangle triangles... just enough to keep things interesting. Take your time trimming and pressing, and it comes together beautifully.
He’s a satisfying sew. Not fussy. Just detailed enough to keep you engaged.

Styling Ideas
He pairs beautifully with Miss Beary Limone, the other spring-inspired pal... together they paint the season in fresh color and playful charm.
Or imagine him repeated in different colors for a whole spring garden of Beary curious bunnies. I mean… how sweet would that be?
