Nanette Quilt... the sunset baby quilt

The Prickly Pear collection by Emily Taylor for Figo Fabrics has had my heart for months. It reminds me of our family trips out to West, Texas; more specifically Alpine, Fort Davis and Marfa, with the pretty landscape and beautiful sunsets. 

I wan't sure what I was going to make with the fabric, until I designed the Nanette quilt pattern. 

I felt like it suited my fabric selection and would make a lovely baby sized quilt.

I paired the prickly pear fabric with a Ruby Star Society fabric for the background.
