Happy Camper Duffle Bag... featuring Good Vibrations
There’s something so satisfying about mixing crisp black and white fabrics with pops of fiery red. When paired with playful half hexagons and triangles, the result is a bold, graphic look that feels both modern and timeless.
Hey there, it’s Kelly Renay! I’m thrilled to share my latest make—a fun and functional round duffle bag stitched up with a few standout prints from the Expressions Batiks: Good Vibrations collection, designed by Nebraska Quilt Company for Riley Blake Designs.

What is Good Vibrations?
Good Vibrations is bursting with energy. It’s a vibrant batik collection full of geometric prints and bold color—think lively greens, brilliant blues, fiery oranges, and rich reds. Anchored by high-contrast black and white designs, it’s the kind of fabric that radiates energy.
While every print in the collection is beautiful, I chose five that really stood out to me. The pairing of classic black and white with saturated reds gave me the perfect palette for something striking and stylish.

Why a Round Duffle Bag?
I used the Happy Camper Duffle pattern by Natalie Pratt of The Ginger Quilter Box, and it reminded me of a classic round gym bag—with a fresh, modern twist. The simple silhouette was the perfect canvas for showing off the bold, angular shapes in these batiks.
This bag isn’t just a looker—it’s practical, too. Whether you’re heading to the gym, packing for a quick trip, or just running around town, it’s a fun and functional carryall that’s bound to draw compliments.
