Introducing Miss Beary Rowan... from the Beary Bunch Block Series
Autumn has a way of bringing people together. Whether it's gathering around the table, sharing favorite family recipes, or simply enjoying a little time with those we love, this season offers plenty of reasons to be thankful.
And speaking of gathering, the second of October's Beary Bunch Block Series pals has arrived with a basket full of seasonal sweetness.

Meet Miss Beary Rowan
With her charming hat, basket of bright red berries, and heart-shaped feet, Miss Beary Rowan is bringing a little extra warmth to the autumn harvest.
Her name was inspired by the rowan tree, known for its clusters of colorful red berries. It seemed like a fitting name for this sweet pal, especially with her basket overflowing with freshly gathered fruit.
And those heart-shaped feet? They're a little reminder of the love, gratitude, and togetherness that make this time of year so meaningful.
While Mr Beary Crispin was busy picking apples, it looks like Rowan has been gathering a harvest of her own.

Rowan's Color Palette
For Miss Beary Rowan, I chose a colorful combination of Riley Blake Designs Confetti Cottons featuring rosy pinks, warm autumn tones, and a few bold pops of color.
- Bear Highlight: Pretty in Pink
- Bear: Dogwood
- Accent A: Lagoon (Hat)
- Accent B: Daffodil (Hat Ribbon)
- Accent C: Cheddar (Hat Ribbon)
- Accent D: Brownie (Hat Bow and Basket)
- Accent E: Cider (Basket Detail)
- Accent F–H: Cherry Tart, Sunset, Riley Red (Berries)
- Accent I: Cotton (Collar)
- Background: Rusty
I love how Pretty in Pink and Dogwood give Rowan her rosy appearance, while Lagoon adds a playful contrast to her hat. Daffodil and Cheddar bring a little golden warmth to the ribbon, and Brownie and Cider give her basket that classic look.
Of course, the berries deserve their own moment. Cherry Tart, Sunset, and Riley Red create a cheerful mix of reds, while the Rusty background ties everything together with a rich autumn feel.

A Few Little Details
Like the other bears in the Beary Bunch Block Series, Miss Beary Rowan uses traditional piecing with the stitch and flip method.
Her basket of berries adds an extra layer of detail to the piecing, while her heart-shaped feet carry the theme of gratitude and togetherness.
The block measures 20" × 35" finished, making it a lovely seasonal wall hanging or a colorful addition to your autumn decorating.
And alongside Mr Beary Crispin, she completes October's pair of autumn-inspired Beary Pals.
