McCall's Quilting Magazine... featuring Holiday Bouquet Quilt

I'm beyond honored to share some exciting news! A few days ago I was brought to tears upon opening an email and seeing my quilt design gracing the cover of the Winter 2025 issue of McCall's Quilting Magazine, Deck the Halls.

My featured quilt, Holiday Bouquet, was inspired by cherished memories of Christmas time growing up. Two special memories to be exact; our annual family purchase of several poinsettia plants and a Christmas Day tradition of taking family pictures in front of my grandparents gorgeous holly tree.

Here's a little flashback of a couple of our Christmas Day pictures. That's me, second from the right in both. What was I thinking with that gold blouse? 

To make the Holiday Bouquet design come to life, I selected solids from Riley Blake Designs using their Confetti Cottons: Riley Red, Super Pink, Emerald City, Christmas Green and Cloud.
