The Prickly Pear collection by Emily Taylor for Figo Fabrics has had my heart for months. It reminds me of our family trips out to West, Texas; more specifically Alpine, Fort Davis and Marfa, with the pretty landscape and beautiful sunsets.
I wan't sure what I was going to make with the fabric, until I designed the Nanette quilt pattern.
I felt like it suited my fabric selection and would make a lovely baby sized quilt.
I paired the prickly pear fabric with a Ruby Star Society fabric for the background.
Here's a list of the fabric I used:
- Primary - Figo Fabric: Prickly Pear - Suns in Yellow, 90278-51
- Secondary - Figo Fabric: Prickly Pear - Suns in Pink, 90278-21
- Accent - Figo Fabric: Prickly Pear - Thorns in Coral, 90280-26
- Background - Ruby Star Society: Hole Punch Dot - White on White, RS3025-11
